Whether its starting our day with a fresh cup of tea or spending quality time with our family members while putting a team-effort at cooking, the only room in the house which can serve these needs is the kitchen.
In today's blog, eProperty Nepal brings you 5 easy and effective ways of showing love to your kitchen by using these tips for keeping your kitchen germ free.

1. Use Ketchup and Salt to Clean Copper Utensils

A recipe of ketchup and salt may not sound like a reliable source to clean copper pans, but thank the wonders of science for this magical way of instantly recovering your copper utensils to their truest form.

2. Avoid Spraying Colin(or any cleaner) Directly on a Surface

While most of us make the mistake of spraying multiple times at a surface before wiping it, it is actually not the safest way to clean. Instead, spray Colin on a micro-fibre cloth, squeeze it gently in your palm to let the liquid spread evenly and then start wiping. You end up using less of the cleaner and get more done in the process.

3. Do NOT Clean too Quickly

We get it, cleaning is not the most fun thing to do and we often try to fast forward the whole process to get back to our lives. But doing so might actually be counter productive. You might leave some spots(doorhandles and knobs) and make matters even worse for yourself later. Take your time and get every nook and corner patiently. It's worth the effort!

4. Washing Windows on a Sunny Day Myth

What better day to clean windows than on a sunny day, right? Well, it turns out that this is the only time you SHOULDN'T be cleaning your windows. The sun heats up your windows too quickly and as a result, you have streaky windows because the soap dries before you wipe them.

5. Use Rice to Clean Bottles

Unless you have 4 inch tall bottles, it is impossible to get to the bottom of narrow-mouthed utensils with your fingers. Our unofficial national food rice comes to the rescue on this one. Just pour a handful of rice and warm water into the bottle, tighten the cap and shake it for a few minutes. You will be left wondering why you haven't used this technique your whole life.

If you found these tips useful, help someone who could also benefit from them by sharing it. If you have anything to add, please let us know in the comments. Happy cleaning!
